We are a 100% volunteer fire company!! We are ALWAYS looking for NEW MEMBERS for a variety of positions:

Firefighter:  An iconic job, becoming a firefighter is extremely rewarding, as you will be helping community members in their desperate times of need. Training is free and equipment is provided by the DFC. 

​

Fire Police:  Fire police help to control emergency scenes. You will be directing traffic and personnel to keep the scene organized. You will receive free training and equipment will be provided by DFC.

​

Associate:  An associate member assists in the operation of the fire company during non-emergent events such as fund raisers, Ladies Auxiliary events and carnival.  

​

Ladies' Auxiliary:  As a member of the Ladies Auxiliary you would help to provide a much-needed supplement to the fire company, in organizing, hosting, and operating numerous fundraising activities along with other responsibilities on an as needed basis.

​

Stop by any Thursday night from 7:30pm-9pm for an application, excluding holidays, or drop off a completed application via the mail slot on the front door.

​

Applicants will be subject to a preliminary interview and background check.
